Unplug Illinois Day- City of Elgin Parks and Recreation
Saturday, July 10 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
Be a part of Unplug Illinois Day on Saturday, July 10th. The City of Elgin encourages residents to get outside and explore their local parks and plug into fun. This day will include family activities at our Wing Park Aquatic Center and Hawthorne Hill Nature Center. 12:00pm-7:00pm-Wing Parks Aquatic Center-Come unplug at Wing Park Family Aquatic Center for some fun in the sun with some water balloon tosses, slide races, cannonball contests, noodle races, and more! Event is free but advanced pool registration is required. 11:00am-3:00pm-Hawthorne Hill Nature Center-Ditch the phone and tablet and get out into our parks. Storybook Trail Hike along our walking trails-11:00am-3:00pm-Free Nature Craft Time for families-1:00pm-3:00pm- Reservation Required www.cityofelgin.org/recreation
