Unplug Illinois Day-Vernon Hills Park District

Unplug Illinois encourages people to get out, unplug, play, and engage with each other through experiences at local park and recreation agencies. On Saturday, July 10, communities across Illinois will celebrate Unplug Illinois Day! People will ditch their electronic devices and ‘unplug’ to enjoy everything their local park and recreation agencies have to offer.

All Day Free Drop-In pickleball and basketball at the Sullivan Community Center Free Activity Sets Available at Century Park – horseshoe, bocce ball, corn hole bags Free Fishing Pole Rental at Century Park Boat Dock
9-11 am Backyard Games at the Century Park Pavilion
9-9:45 am Free Family Chair Yoga at Lakeview Fitness
11 am Free Bike Parade at the Century Park Pavilion Decorate your bike and dress up your dog!
12:30-5 pm Chalk Contest at the Family Aquatic Center Reservation required.
5:30 pm Family Camp Out at the Family Aquatic Center Registration required.
