Hardwoods Made Easy

Do you find tree identification a challenge? This tree identification class will give you the tools you need to identify the variety of hardwood trees native to Kane County. We’ll use field guides, apps, and hand lenses to learn how to recognize native species. We’ll also look at the trees in the context of woodland ecology.
The Forest Preserve District of Kane County teams up with the St. Charles Park District and the Geneva Park District to offer a series of classes focusing on a variety of topics in local ecology.
